Academics
A rigorous, Christ-centered curriculum designed to build strong minds and faithful hearts.
Abeka Curriculum
Victory Baptist Academy uses the Abeka curriculum, a time-tested, Bible-based program that emphasizes phonics, traditional math, strong grammar, and a biblical worldview in every subject.
Abeka materials are known for their academic rigor, character-building content, and focus on developing independent thinkers who can articulate and defend a Christian worldview.
- Phonics-based reading and spelling instruction
- Traditional, mastery-based mathematics
- Strong grammar, writing, and penmanship
- History and science taught from a biblical perspective

NWEA Standardized Testing
Students in elementary and middle grades participate in NWEA MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) Growth assessments. These computerized, adaptive tests measure student growth in reading, language usage, and mathematics throughout the school year.
NWEA testing helps our teachers identify each student's strengths and areas for growth, personalize instruction, and track long-term academic progress.

- Measures growth over time, not just grade-level performance
- Detailed reports for teachers and parents
- Informs individualized instruction and intervention
